Mortgage FlipCard stores your calculator data only on your device. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. The only time anything leaves your device is when you choose to use an optional AI feature and give your explicit consent, and then only the content you submit is sent — directly to Google's Gemini API using your own API key.
Some features are powered by Google's Gemini API and are entirely optional:
These features use a Google Gemini API key that you supply in the app. Requests go directly from your device to Google under your key, and are handled per Google's Privacy Policy and the Gemini API Terms. We operate no server of our own: no data passes through us, and we never see your API key, your inputs, or the results. If you never use these features, nothing ever leaves your device.
Google is the only third party that ever receives data from the app. We have reviewed Google's Privacy Policy and the Gemini API Terms linked above and confirm that Google provides the same or equal protection of your data as described in this policy.
Nothing is sent to Google without your explicit consent. Before the app makes its first AI request, it shows a consent prompt describing exactly what will be shared; no data leaves your device until you agree. You can withdraw your consent at any time in Settings → Reset AI sharing permission — the app will then ask for consent again before any future AI request. Declining or withdrawing consent disables only the AI features; the calculator works fully without them.
Mortgage FlipCard is an educational calculator. Its output is illustrative and not a substitute for advice from a licensed professional.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date below.
